This program is a follow up to the Foundational Study Guide (Six Lessons for New Converts) of the Christian Education Department which focuses mainly on getting members of the church to be baptized. Each member of the Church is required to go through each stage of the program and graduate from one class to another. After graduation from each class, each church member is required to undertake a practical spiritual project as an individual or as part of a team. To date the MDP has enhanced the maturity and discipleship of church members; fostered fellowship amongst church members thus engaging members in the understanding of Jesus’ commandments to love God and to love one’s neighbour. MDP class members typically support their member during weddings, naming ceremonies, graduations, funerals etc. Several Love Feasts have been organised through the MDP’s to break the social gaps and enhance bonding in the church. The MDP has also enhanced church member follow-ups and visitation and also supported church projects and programs.
